From the moment we got there we were made to feel unwelcome. The head waitress felt like a head mistress. The other waitress commented disparagingly that we were “drinking at lunchtime”. We were told when my friend asked for a glass of red wine as it was my birthday (like we had to explain!) that they close at 2.30 but would make an exception. Shame they didn’t tell us this when we booked? The food was ok…..nothing special but would have been acceptable without the dreadful service. Won’t go back!

Superb food and a reasonably priced wine list. I was part of a group of 14, all of whom were very impressed. Just wish I lived locally
