About Cafe Diwali

The Indian born chef Rasheed is bringing a whole new dining experience to the city by launching his exciting menu of Indian Street Food and Craft Beer at Cafe Diwali.

Our Story

Where It All Begin

Muhammad Rasheed founded Café Diwali over 10 years ago, bringing with him more than 24 years of culinary experience. A hotel management graduate from India, he trained and worked in leading hotels before moving to the UK, where he went on to serve as Head Chef in several fine dining restaurants.

At Café Diwali, his vision is to offer more than just a meal—it’s a complete experience. Guests can enjoy authentic South Indian flavours, from freshly made dosas and rich biryanis to traditional Indian curries and mixed kebab platters, all served in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

We pride ourselves on using locally sourced ingredients and refreshing our menu twice a year, alongside creating special menus for occasions like Valentine’s Day and Christmas.
